One artist who stood out to him with his artwork was Jose Silva. "His art was quite beautiful and of very high quality. He worked mainly with portraits of people captured at a particular moment in time. Some were gazing; some were looking right at you. These weren't basic portrait paintings; he had some beautiful strokes, and his loose yet deliberate style helped tell a story while remaining very accurate."

Silva sold two large art pieces at the event for $1,200 each. "A young lady loved my setup and artwork. I am super grateful for her purchasing my art and the event for keeping me doing what I love to do the most, and that is oil painting."
